Emmanuel Tetteh Pecku

“A flat short-bristle brush and a palette knife are most important to my work. The result is a unique style, greatly enhanced by an almost fanatical regard for the purity of colors.”

“My name is Emmanuel Tetteh Pecku. My mother says that during pre-school education, my teachers always complained about my habit of drawing on any surface I came across, anywhere – even when class was in session. I always won prizes in school art competitions, and also played soccer for the school.

I have been painting since 1995, and began studying for a university degree in art in 1999.” Pecku’s favorite medium is acrylic on canvas.   He likes basing his work on situations that can raise an alarm to save society.
