A Kuba tribal storage box, traditionally known as an ngedi mu ntey, is a hand-carved wooden or raffia container made by the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Historically used to store red camwood (tukula) powder and personal valuables, they are renowned for their geometric, incised patterns and half-moon shapes.
